Do you charge call-out fees?
Yes. Standard call outs (Mon–Fri, 8am–6pm) are charged at £50, which includes the first 30 minutes of labour. Evening, weekend, and emergency rates differ.
What are your working hours?
My standard hours are Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 6:00 pm. Emergency call-out cover is available evenings, weekends, and bank holidays (higher rates apply).
How quickly can you attend?
For emergencies, I aim to attend the same day whenever possible. For non-urgent jobs, I usually book appointments within a few days, depending on workload.
Do you provide free quotes?
Yes. I provide free, no-obligation written quotations before starting planned work.
Do you guarantee your work?
Yes. All labour is guaranteed for 12 months. Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and materials.
Can you carry out gas work (boilers, gas appliances, etc.)?
No. I am not Gas Safe registered, which means I cannot legally carry out gas appliance servicing, repairs, or installations.
I can, however, work on water systems, plumbing fixtures, radiators, bathrooms, pipework, drainage, and general plumbing/heating services. If you need gas-related work, I will always recommend using a qualified Gas Safe registered engineer.
Do you supply materials?
Yes. I can source materials for you, or you can provide them yourself. If you supply your own materials, I cannot accept liability for their performance or compatibility.
Do you have insurance?
Yes. I hold full Public Liability Insurance for customer protection. A copy of my certificate is available on request.
How do I pay?
Payment is due on completion of the job unless otherwise agreed. I accept card, cash, bank transfer, or cheque.
